It is our survival strategy. The man is a&nbsp;<em>Defects beings<\/em>that is only due to culture viable. We survive because we have access to a common memory to the values, tools, and stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This collective knowledge sharing has enabled us to conquer even extreme habitats. Culture acts as a\u00a0<strong>Hardware extension for our brain<\/strong>.<br>Without them, we lose not only orientation but also identity. It gives us a sense of belonging and sense \u2013 the two basic pillars of mental stability. In Online communities on Reddit, TikTok, or Discord \u2013 replaced the shared joke often the most shared belief. The&nbsp;<strong>Meme<\/strong>&nbsp;the modern totem bar: a compressed Symbol of collective belonging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, this new culture is&nbsp;<strong>fast-paced and disembodied<\/strong>. It creates close to, but you can guarantee no depth. If human meaning is expressed only in pixels, of language, there is a risk&nbsp;<em>Disembodiment of mind<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-text-display is-style-text-display--3\">The digitization of the mind: opportunity or danger?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Never before have we had access to as much Knowledge as it is today. Digital cultural horizons, fosters creativity, and connects the world. (More on this you can find in my article\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rolandwegerer.at\/en\/tag\/ki-kreativitaet\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"507\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">creativity and AI<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But: What could we gain more depth, we often lose at resonance. A study of the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eva.mpg.de\/de\/index\/\">Max-Planck-Institute for evolutionary anthropology<\/a>&nbsp;shows:&nbsp;<strong>Social Interaction<\/strong>&nbsp;is crucial for sustainable Learning. If this takes place digitally, we are changing as a species, our cultural Software.
