Statt zerbrochene Keramik wegzuwerfen, werden die Scherben sorgf\u00e4ltig mit einem speziellen Urushi-Lack zusammengef\u00fcgt und die Bruchstellen mit Goldpulver veredelt. Das Ergebnis sind einzigartige Kunstwerke, bei denen die &#8222;Narben&#8220; nicht versteckt, sondern bewusst hervorgehoben werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diese Kunst entstand vermutlich im 15. Jahrhundert, als der japanische Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa eine zerbrochene Teeschale zur Reparatur nach China schickte. Als sie mit h\u00e4sslichen Metallklammern zur\u00fcckkam, beauftragte er japanische Handwerker, eine \u00e4sthetischere L\u00f6sung zu finden. So wurde Kintsugi geboren \u2013 eine Technik, die Sch\u00e4den nicht kaschiert, sondern sie zu einem wertvollen Teil der Geschichte des Objekts macht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rolandwegerer.at\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Gemini_Generated_Image_81976e81976e8197-1024x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"Kintsugi Vase\" style=\"width:515px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parallelen zur modernen Kreislaufwirtschaft<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Betrachtet man die Grundprinzipien von Kintsugi, fallen erstaunliche Parallelen zu modernen Konzepten der Kreislaufwirtschaft auf. Beide Ans\u00e4tze:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sehen &#8222;Defekte&#8220; nicht als Ende, sondern als Chance zur Transformation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wertsch\u00e4tzen Reparatur statt Ersatz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schaffen durch geschickte Aufarbeitung neue Werte<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Ellen MacArthur Foundation, eine f\u00fchrende Organisation im Bereich Kreislaufwirtschaft, definiert diese als &#8222;regeneratives System, in dem Ressourceneinsatz und Abfallproduktion, Emissionen und Energieverschwendung durch Verlangsamung, Verringerung und Schlie\u00dfung von Energie- und Materialkreisl\u00e4ufen minimiert werden.&#8220; Genau wie bei Kintsugi geht es darum, den Lebenszyklus von Produkten zu verl\u00e4ngern und Ressourcen optimal zu nutzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Von Kintsugi lernen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Was k\u00f6nnen wir von dieser alten Kunst f\u00fcr unsere moderne Wegwerfgesellschaft lernen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Wertsch\u00e4tzung des Unvollkommenen<\/strong>: Statt nach Perfektion zu streben, k\u00f6nnen wir lernen, auch das &#8222;Mangelhafte&#8220; wertzusch\u00e4tzen. Dies gilt f\u00fcr Gegenst\u00e4nde ebenso wie f\u00fcr nat\u00fcrliche Ressourcen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reparatur als Kunst<\/strong>: Die aufwendige Restaurierung macht Gegenst\u00e4nde oft wertvoller als zuvor. Dieses Prinzip l\u00e4sst sich auf viele Bereiche des nachhaltigen Designs \u00fcbertragen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Geschichte bewahren<\/strong>: Jede Reparatur erz\u00e4hlt eine Geschichte und macht den Gegenstand einzigartig \u2013 ein Gegenentwurf zur anonymen Massenproduktion.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Moderne Anwendungen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Erfreulicherweise finden wir heute immer mehr Initiativen, die den Geist von Kintsugi in die moderne Zeit \u00fcbertragen. Repair-Caf\u00e9s, Upcycling-Workshops und innovative Recycling-Technologien zeigen, dass alte Weisheiten auch im 21. Jahrhundert relevant sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besonders spannend finde ich das Projekt &#8222;Precious Plastic&#8220; des niederl\u00e4ndischen Designers Dave Hakkens, das Menschen weltweit bef\u00e4higt, Kunststoffabf\u00e4lle in wertvolle neue Produkte zu verwandeln \u2013 gewisserma\u00dfen ein modernes Kintsugi f\u00fcr das Plastikzeitalter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kintsugi lehrt uns, dass Nachhaltigkeit nicht Verzicht bedeuten muss, sondern eine Chance zur kreativen Transformation sein kann.
